How To Know You Are A Christian

The Bible (God's Word) says that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Rom.3:23). Joining a church or any religious organization, being a “good person,” or even being baptized does not make you a Christian (Eph. 2:8,9). You become a child of God by realizing that you are separated from God by sin and can only be in right relationship with God by receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord of your life (John 3:3). He promises to forgive you, cleanse you, and give you a new life (II Cor. 5:17)! 

If you wish to experience salvation in Jesus Christ, you can pray this prayer, right now, in front of your computer:

"Dear God, thank you for making me and loving me - even when I've ignored You and gone my own way.  I realize I need You in my life and I am sorry for my sins.  I ask You to forgive me.  Thank you, Jesus, for dying on the cross for me.  I want to follow You from this day on.  Please come into my life and make me a new person.  Amen."
